{ Our Story }

She walked into the casino with long, confident strides, but her eyes gave her away. She was secure in herself, but humble and curious too. She was beautiful. And yet, even with eyes as large as the moon, she did not notice him.

But he noticed her.

He was working and, though he was young, he had the professional wherewithal not to ask for her name. He didn't trust himself not to ask more. Months passed. She became a regular. And though he harbored a crush, he remained quiet.

One day, as if seeing him for the very first time, she looked at him with the same big brown eyes he had seen that first day. The curious eyes. And she spoke.

"Are you new here?"

That moment did not mark the beginning. It was merely the beginning of the beginning. Years would yet pass before the boy and the girl would be more.

From time to time, even now, many years later, she still looks at him with those big, curious eyes. And whenever she does so, a sheepish grin appears. And she asks if he is new here.

{ Registry }

Please do not feel obligated to bring any gifts. We value having you in our lives and that is always enough. If you really must insist, we are incredibly humbled by your generosity. We have set up the registry below to make that as easy as possible. Follow the link and it lists some items that we would be ever so grateful to receive.

{ Directions  & Parking }

Parking is free on UW campus after noon on Saturdays - and all day Sunday, in case you consume too much to drive home. Feel free to park in any lot, except C1, which is always reserved.

The map below marks some good parking lot options with Xs. Our ceremony will take place in the Quad underneath the [hopefully blooming] cherry trees. That spot is marked with a star on the map. It may be cold, and perhaps wet, so dress accordingly. Don't worry, our ceremony is short. Ladies, be wary of heels, the ceremony takes place on grass which may be soft that time of year. Fellas wearing heels will be photographed for posterity.

The reception will take place in Mary Gates hall, a short walk away and also marked with a star. We will have staff available to help guide the way.

We highly recommend parking in the C2-6 lots, in the underground garage beneath Red Square. You can access that garage off of 15th Ave. The padelford garage, on the far right of the map, is always available, but be warned, it includes a free workout in the form of a roughly 200 step staircase. The light rail is also a great option to avoid traffic and designated drivers.

If you decide to stay overrnight with a nearby hotel, we have secured a 10% discount for any of our guests (that's you!) with the StayPineapple twin hotels, the Watertown and the University Inn. We will be stayting at the Watertown ourselves. follow the link below to their website and use the promo code WED when booking online or via phone.

If you need or plan to arrive before noon, please contact us. We have a 6 digit pin you can give to the attendants at the gatehouse to recieve parking on us.

If you need directions to or around the UW campus area, google is your friend. See below.
